Frequently Asked Questions
Am I able to consult you directly?
Whilst some of our instructions come directly from solicitors or insurance companies, we also accept instructions from private clients. All you need to do is contact us on 0330 010 0160 or email info@go-ortho.co.uk. When you call us, one of our friendly team will ask for a few more details and we can then start to identify the best consultant for your specific needs. We may also, of course, need access to your medical reports (which we can obtain directly from your GP) but we can certainly discuss this with you in more detail depending on your individual requirements.
Should you wish us to liaise with your solicitor or insurer directly, we can arrange for this to be done quite simply. All we need is your written consent and we can then access any required information without having to trouble you. Ultimately this means that you can (quite literally) sit back and relax whilst we put you in the best possible hands and deal with any claim on your behalf.
Will I be able to get a local appointment?
Yes. Once we’ve identified the best Surgeon to address your specific concerns we’ll arrange an appointment at a time and place to suit you. Most of our Surgeons offer home or hospital appointments which means you don’t have to worry about transport; particularly at a time when you might not feel fit enough to travel.
If my case goes to Court will you be able to provide expert support?
Absolutely. All our consultants are carefully chosen for their levels of expertise and knowledge. This often means that, in addition to preparing a report for you, he or she can also attend Court in order to give more specific and detailed evidence to the Judge.
All our consultants are familiar with Civil Procedure Rules and Lord Woolf’s recommendations which means you’re in completely safe (and very experienced) hands.
